9/8/2023 Scriptily Studios is now "sanctuary" on Roblox! New domain acquiry! Welcome to a new era!Read Now[record scratch]
...Hello? Is thing on? Oh goodie! Hello there. Been a while hasn't it? I am not dead at last! I'm writing this blog post personally to announce that our official original group "Scriptily Studios" on Roblox has been renamed to ".sanctuary." to look more appealing to a bigger audience. We don't want to look like a soulless corporate entity! We also might expand our creativity into creating clothing as well and not just developing (unfinished) games. I've also acquired the domain scriptily.xyz that redirects directly to this domain on Weebly which hosts everything the website has. We added special redirects like scriptily.xyz/profile and scriptily.xyz/group that redirect to my Roblox profile and the Roblox group. Along with the domain acquiry, we also have a business email now and you can contact us at [email protected]! And to top it off, I published the October 2020 build preview of The Awakening UI on YouTube. It was originally recorded on Oct 16, 2020 and unlisted for our private clients, but was published to the public on Sep 9, 2023. Keep in mind the video is not of the most recent build of the game, which was released on December 2020. I'd like to personally thank you for reading this blog post and for keeping up with us to this day - if you are an original frequent visitor! It really has been a while but I'm glad to be back... at least for the time being. Anywho, this is all I have to announce. Till then, toodles!

Hello everybody, Scriptily here to report urgent news regarding one of our anticipated projects.
Slow your horses down, though, it is not what you think it is! It's not another project cancelation... yet! The development of the studio's next hit game, The Awakening, will be paused temporarily while I work on finishing and releasing my indie project, Defenselance, which success and influence will ultimately determine the fate of The Awakening. If Defenselance gets enough recognition and popularity, the development on The Awakening will resume with an expanded dev team, as then I will have a sustainable income from Defenselance to pay the devs and sponsor the game. But if Defenselance were to flop, The Awakening will be canceled indefinitely, as I have already spent hundreds of hours into the project and I am not willing to spend more hours on the game for it to just become a flop and barely get any recognition. I've came up with this decision because the idea of the whole project just going down and becoming a flop has been constantly demotivating me whenever I launched Roblox studio to work on the game. If this were to become another case like Prisoner's Journey 2, the unfinished assets of The Awakening will be open to the public to test out and give feedback. The code will remain closed-source as it always has been. TL;DR: The Awakening's development will pause temporarily, but the project hasn't been canceled yet! Resources will be focused on developing and releasing a smaller-scaled project titled Defenselance. First blog post of the year. First blog post of the decade. And it's been almost a year since we published our 2019 design of the website. So this calls for a redesign!
Welcome to another blog post. Happy new years and a new decade! Enough with the pointless late greetings and let's get into the sweet, juicy stuff! A redesign has descended from heaven and blessed us with furbished looks! It's the 2020 design! Now you can say that you have a 20/20 vision... Okay, I'm sorry for that. Just had to get it out of my chest. Anyway, this new redesign brings - yet again - new, constant, easy-on-the-eye fonts. But we didn't entirely change all fonts. Just the ones that felt out of place, hard to read, and just... old. The menu navigation button has disappeared from existence. We decided to swing the ban hammer on its head and throw it into the void because who needs to click a button to expand a menu to press ANOTHER button?! Madness! In spite of the double-click effort, it looked out of place, and kept spazzing out whenever pressed. With that unnecessary menu navigation button gone now, the menu bar is shown at all times on top of the page, and finally centered along with the logo! Looking forward into our 2020-and-beyond vision, we decided to redesign the navigation for our games, and since we make universal games and apps, it's been renamed to "Projects" instead of "Games" for easier clarity. Upon clicking the "Projects" button and warping to the page, the "Platforms" section will greet you with a warm welcome and introduce you to our fine selection of platforms to pick from. Once decided, another page with the projects of said platform will greet you with an even warmer welcome! How nice! From there, you can view all past, present, and possibly future projects along with quick details of the project. We've also - finally - removed the forums button and archived its page. The forums and its services have been inactive for more than a year now and served no purpose but to occupy space and waste the time of our precious viewers scrolling and exploring through the pages. The forums will remain closed until further notice. In addition to removing features, we've removed the Certified Service Badges (CSB) from the Services page. We've even contemplated removing the entire Services page as it currently serves no purpose nor is it providing any helpful information. What do you think we should do with the Services page? Should we keep it and update it? Or should we swing the ban hammer on its head just like how we did with the menu navigation button? Post a comment down below and tell us what you think! Documentation of universal projects and platform-specific projects have also been updated to provide accurate and updated information. Neat link buttons, because why not? And a couple of side fixes and information corrections. Nothing much. Thanks for tuning into our blog post. See you after 3 months of hibernation! We are unfortunate to announce that our previous partnership with the studio iKhol Interactive has come to an end, and that includes the partnership on the previously-named project, Among The Dead. Though, do not fear! For the project has not been canceled! Hoo-rays! For once, a project of ours hasn't been canceled... yet?
The project has moved over to Scriptily Studios and quadrum pulse, and has been renamed to The Awakening. We will make sure that we give enough love and support to the project like never before. At least now we've announced the year(s) that the project and its early phases will roll out in! The migration of the project started on Dec 11th, 2019 and finished on Dec 14th, 2019. We've also opened up a new, fresh Discord server for the newly-named project! And while we're here, good thing it hasn't been 2 weeks since our last blog post. What a miracle! We've also changed the looks of our games' pages! And just in case, we've set the year to 2020 in the Home page in advance - in case we forget like last year... Well, that's all I've got to say for now. Have a nice day! Merry early Christmas, everybody, and welcome back to another blog post after a long 8-month hibernation... well, don't blame us, blame whoever turned the lights off since last blog post! 2019 is almost coming to an end, just like any other year, and this year has been faster than any other year. Like what?! And what other better way can we conclude the year? Ah yes, new refurnishing! We finally came out of our hibernating closet, and made some changes and... *drum rolls*... rebranded our studio--s! Yeah, they're still named the same, but they have new, consistent looks!! And what's that you see? A new studio shines in the horizon! Though we'd prefer to keep the details of the new-shining studio in the dark for a bit more while it cooks up for the big meal. So yeah, enough with this nonsense, chit-chat, and let's open up the curtains already! *more drum rolls*... Like we all know, Scriptily Studios is our mother of studios. This big, bad baby is the thing that unites all studios together, and most importantly, unites all of our developers together as a one, caring team! quadrum pulse... Ah, where can I start? If we're talking about branch studios (excluding Scriptily Studios), this has to be my favorite studio. This studio is responsible for almost-realistic gameplay, with breathtaking shaders and visuals using our yet-to-be-announced-but-who-cares EHVisuals (Enhanced Hyper Visuals) technology, which takes the Future Is Bright project for Roblox and improves it within the engine (and even players can - almost - customize and tweak the settings for the technology to their liking). This studio is also responsible for those smooth, responsive controls in our first person shooter games, and is basically a part of every aimed-at-realism game we've ever developed. Kenec... well, this is our new shining-on-the-horizon studio that we mentioned we will keep a secret in the dark until the perfect time comes. Never rush art. We will just say that a massive project will be announced between 2021 to 2022 with this studio taking a huge portion of the project, along with quadrum pulse. But hey, you may be asking "Wait, didn't you guys forget something?" and we will proceed with "What something?" and you will say "Your partners!". And to answer you... well, to be honest, our partners are separated from our beloved, mother of studios - Scriptily Studios. So technically, they're on their own with their founders and managers. Don't get us wrong! They get our support, love and care, but exclusive, only-in-the-studios changes stay only-in-the-studios. Heh, we should make that a phrase that we can pass around. Well, this was a fun write, and hope you had a good laugh, or even a chuckle. If not, that's fine... yeah, fine. We will proceed to go back to hibernation for a couple more months before we return with more banger changes.
"Woah! Where am I?! I can't see anything! Where's the light switch?!", you may be asking, but wait! Before switching on the light, think about us. Think about our tiny, little, poor, weak eyes - yours too. What will happen to them when they suddenly get flashed by a bright, unforgiving light?
Probably get blinded, but yeah. Welcome to another blog post! This one didn't take 5 months... at least. We're more than excited and happy to announce to your tiny eyes that we've released dark theme to the entire website! Even those old release notes for Prisoner's Journey 2! God, it was terrible going through them all! Anyway, we didn't just release dark theme, we've also released a couple of new scrolling effects to all pages. But hold the phone, you may be asking... again: "But why is the News page's theme white? My eyes... They can't bare this amount of brightness...", well, like I said, think about what would happen to your eyes if you were to switch on the light. But this one is on our end. We couldn't switch the theme for the News page for a couple of internal reasons. No! Not laziness! Not this time at least... Well, really that's all I have to say. Hope someone found this blog post and actually read it. And while you're at it, do you want to hear some of the progress that's being worked on for The Awakening? Alrighty! You're in for a treat! Keep scrolling... It's somewhere down here... I think... Where did it go?! God! It must've been Alan again! I told him not to touch these kinds of things! Ugh!! Haha! Late April fools joke. There's no progress for you! Shoo! Lame joking aside; thank you for reading, and back to hibernating for a couple more months... And we're back, again! In 2019! Happy *late* new years!
We've been inspired by a couple of professional websites with their jaw-dropping clean UI. So we've decided to do the same. We've revamped each page with new fonts and a new color scheme... possibly introducing dark theme? We've given The Awakening's official game page a clean, new, easy-on-the-eye look to view your favorite game no matter what time it is; day or night. We've also moved a couple of things around and corrected some details here and there, as well as wrote 2019 in the Home page instead of 2018... Heh. Oh, it's also been a year since the release of the website! Woohoo! Here's to a great year of development and less blog posts! Do people even read my blog posts? Well... uh... this is awkward.
It's been almost 5 months since the last blog post - not because I was lazy or anything... Well anyways, we're coming back home with some presents! Christmas came early. A couple of changes and tweaks have been done in the past few weeks, but I'm finally moving my lazy butt and writing about this. Well, let's just get straight into this because I need to go do something. + New game page, The Awakening. Read more about the game by clicking the link! + New Certified Service Badges (CSB). Now we can show our players how certified and secure the games they're playing. Each associated game will be shown with its own certified badges. Each badge represents a task. At the moment, there's only the "Secured" badge, which shows that the game has a robust anti-scam, anti-place-theft, and a bigger, better exploit-free environment. * Updated Prisoner's Journey 2's game page with the recent heartbreaking news. * Better text formatting - no more old-school script-y texts! * Couple of tweaks and correcting information here and there. And yeah, now we're probably going to hibernate for another 5 months... Just kidding!.. Maybe... It's been exactly 2 months since the last blog post (in the time I'm writing this).
You're probably questioning, "What happened? Why aren't they releasing more blog posts and updates to the website more often?". Well, to simply answer your question, we're lazy... well I shouldn't say "we" because I'm the only one managing this entire website, besides, I have other projects to work on such as Prisoner's Journey 2, you should definitely check it out! So, now you know why the website isn't getting updates more frequently. Don't get upset though, I've pushed some updates and changes to the website today (28th April), which includes icon changes, corrected some information and details, and other minor changes and improvements. I've also pushed more changes to Prisoner's Journey 2's game page, and updated all screenshots, and included a "Status" message to keep you updated with the development of the game. As of I'm writing this, the game is %62.33 completed. We still have a lot to do, mainly for the map. Speaking of which, we are looking for more builders to try and release beta this summer, if we can't, we'll extend the deadline to this fall. Well, I probably won't post another blog post for another 2 months. To stay updated, follow my Twitter, and join my Discord server. Until then, see you on the other side. We're more than happy to announce our new website, officially live now!
You can get all sorts of news and updates for our games here on this page, and you can learn more about our upcoming games in the projects page. We've released some details for our new game, Prisoner's Journey 2, check it out! Another source for communications is our Forums page, it might be offline at the time you're reading this but that's due to updates *or perhaps we messed something up lol*. We'll be releasing another *better* forum to the page very soon! Learn more about our services and how to use them in the Services page. It might look awful and helpless at the time I'm writing this blog post, but trust me, it's probably more helpful and better at the time you're reading this... probably in the future? Well, I guess that's all for today's blog post. And no, I'm probably not gonna post daily blog posts because I'll run out of ideas to post, eventually. We'll be releasing more blog posts soon, especially development blog posts. Stay tuned and keep an eye out on my Twitter, I will tweet about new blog posts, sometimes. |
