What is Codes X 1.0?
Codes X 1.0 is a developing technique programmed by Scriptily for current-generation games held under Scriptily Studios and its partners. The technique brings many easy-on-the-eye hard-to-implement, custom-made services into the creation of our games. Each individual feature is unique in its way, and all of them are fast, reliable, and up-to-date.
Newer versions of Codes X may cause older versions to break, malfunction, and lose data. We tend to discontinue the services of previous versions a long time after the newer versions get released, giving the developers of Scriptily Studios and its partners enough time to migrate over to the newer versions.
Codes X 1.0 is not just a service-handler, it's implemented into our programming style. Releasing newer versions will only be the case for when releasing a new game. Updating past-generation games is a hassle because we have to visit every script and feature in the game and attempt to re-write them with the new style and connect them to the new services.
When a new version releases, features, services and games that are developed with the previous Codes X version will discontinue use and support approximately 3 months after the new versions are released and tested properly. Any games developed with the previous Codes X version will lose support and will become closed after its period ends, except for games that we'd like to extend the support of. That decision will depend on the voice of the community; whether they want the game to stay or to be sent into the banished lands... except universal projects (like Scriptivision), obviously.

Why Codes X 1.0?
We wanted a library and a developing technique that is both easy and consistent to use for all of our current and future projects.
How does a library/developing technique make developing easier and consistent, you may ask? Well, to start off, we will have a basic example of how we want to approach the project, and with Codes X 1.0, prototyping and debugging has never been easier - and the consistency is not just for the project itself, but for all projects - so we can easily return to old projects and understand the code without running through old, dusty notes to just understand a small block of code.
And to think that all of these fancy features and services are only for Roblox exclusively is a bit overkill; we're using these features and services universally with other engines.
